Alleged Machete Threats Lead to Bismarck Man’s Arrest

Unlike what we've been taught in movies, threatening people with a machete IS an arrestable offense. One Bismarck man found that fact out early Saturday morning, May 23rd.

According to The Bismarck Tribune, police were forced to draw their weapons after Lance Hollis White threatened to attack anyone that came near him with a machete.

Once police were able to clear and secure the home White was in, they located the machete, along with a person that claimed that White had taken a swing at him.

White was promptly arrested and charged with felony terrorizing and reckless endangerment. Both charges carry a five-year prison charge.

Danny Trejo, who played the main character in the 'Machete' films and is pictured above, was unavailable for comment. I can only assume he doesn't agree with White's arrest.
