Ok, so you can't open a beer using only a quarter and a magnet. You can, however, open a beer using a machete, a wrench, a hammer, a basketball rim, and various other things, according to this video.

The video is entitled 'Bottle Cap Blues' and it was put together by Adam Young and Chris Sumers. Basically, they just show you a whole lot of ways you can open a beer, if you don't happen to have a bottle opener handy.

Some of them seem a little more useful than others. I mean, I don't recommend smashing your beer bottle on a basketball rim and then drinking it, but you could definitely use a few of the tricks.
